 Tio ba se pe mi ni iwo,

 ni iwo ni

O  ba fapajo, fapajo,fapajo,

O ba fi ese jo, fi ese jo,

O ba figbogbo  ara jo jo jo,

  Hands akimbo, and feet tapping to beats,

With Ayanbade, banging the drum,

Hands in and out

Drum voicing out each steps to take,

Drum yelling each commands,

With Adunni, obeying each command,

  Dancing in calculated steps to the commands of the drum,

Like possessed princess, she danced each steps to BATA,

Each step to BATA, each step with BATA,

 With wild drum drumming so hard, 

Fiercely strong, fiercely beautiful with sand stirred up,

Up down to life and joy!
